Artist's Comments
This is oak called "Olgierd and Kiejstut" on "The Trail of the Royal Oaks" in Biebrza National Park in Poland. When I saw it first time I realized that it is like one of "characters" from Shadow of the Colossus. It was very misty so impression was amazing. I took this photo precisely 9 August 2007 (18:39).
Some numbers concern the tree: circumference - 375 cm, height - 31 m, age - about 150 years. |
